Student Dietetic Association Being a part of the Student Dietetic Association at the University of Northern Colorado has opened up many opportunities for me as an aspiring registered dietitian. I have volunteered in the community, spread nutrition awareness throughout our campus, and been able to network with dietitians in the field. The SDA has also allowed me to meet many other college students pursuing the same career as me, and this has led to great friendships. The events we hold and the issues we discuss have led me to feel further prepared and experienced to graduate and enter the working field. |

I chaired the Student Dietetic Association table at UNC's
Student Health Fair. This is the pamphlet that members of the SDA and I created to hand out to the students:
I chaired the SDA Cooking Class for UNC Students that consisted of healthy recipes for the Fall season. I taught proper cooking techniques and healthier substitutes for a balanced holiday meal.

I participated in SDA's healthy bake sale table held in the University Center. This sale was a fundraiser for our club, as well as an education tool to teach students about healthier food choices.
